The Spore Cheats Forum is finally up and running. It’s a little bare right now with not much content but hopefully with some time it will become a nice resource of information of all things Spore. Creature Creator has officially been released and you can download the free trial version right now and start creating you very own Spore creature. You can also get the full version which has more features for creating your creature for 10 bucks.
EA has announced they are in the early stages of developing Spore for the iPhone and hope to have it released by September the same time as the other planned platforms. Spore on the iPhone will take advantage of multi-touch functionality from the iPhone, the tilt sensors, and accelerometer.
EA are also developing many other games for the iPhone we just don’t know what. The iPhone is going to a great platform for portable games with it’s touch functionality and great looking screen.
EA and Maxis announced Spore will be available Sept 7, 2008 and will be available for the Windows, Mac, Nintendo DS, and cellphones. Will Wright said they are in the final testing and polishing stage for the highly anticipated game. It looks like Spore will be arriving just in time for the holiday season of 2008, there really is a Santa Claus.
Will Wright demonstrates his latest creation, Spore at TED. He goes through the different phases of Spore showing some actual game play. This game looks sweat.
This Spore trailer was shown at E3 2006. The clip is just a little over a minute and shows nice variety of the game play. All 5 different phases are shown in this Spore preview the beginning is the Tide Pool Phase, Creature Phase, Tribal Phase, Civilization Phase, and Space Phase.
