EA has announced they are in the early stages of developing Spore for the iPhone and hope to have it released by September the same time as the other planned platforms. Spore on the iPhone will take advantage of multi-touch functionality from the iPhone, the tilt sensors, and accelerometer.

EA are also developing many other games for the iPhone we just don’t know what. The iPhone is going to a great platform for portable games with it’s touch functionality and great looking screen.
