Not only does the Spore 1.0 patch fix some bug and stability issues it also offers some pretty cool cheats. If you installed the EA Download Manger you can open that up and download this patch but if you don’t have EA manager installed you can download it here http://files.ea.com/downloads/eacore/eadm-installer.exe.
Spore 1.0 Patch Cheats:
evoadvantage – this cheat will allow you to start a new game with one of your more evolved creatures or ones from Sporepedia.
blocksmode – Turn your creatures into blocky creatures.
stylefilter -microscope
stylefilter -norainbows
stylefilter -nextgen

I have tried time and time again pressing ctrl+shift+c but nothing appears to type in, i even uninstalled then reinstalled the game to get only the 1.0 patch nothing higher but still nothing works i realy need help with this so any comments would be greatly appreciated please take your time to help me because i would if i knew and someone else needed help thanks!!!

I think you type it in while at the main screen (Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up console) before you click on teh planet you want to start the game on.

Ok, to successfully use the ‘evoadvantage cheat’:
At the main menu, or at the stage selection, press [CTRL]+[SHFT]+C (all at once). A console window will open. In that window, type in your cheat(s) – in this case, type in EVOADVANTAGE (in small letters). Press the X to close the console then select your planet of choice – MUST BE A NEW PLANET, NOT ONE IN USE. Then select CREATURE stage, NOT CELL STAGE. The sporpedia will open for creature selection!

hi, in my game, i could only pick from a list of primitive creatures. is that normal or is somthing wrong. seems kinda pointless to only pick from the list of primitive creatures. thanks
You don’t need EA download manager the game will automatically pop up a message saying Log in for new patch updates then you click continue and login in and choose wether to download patch.

turns blocks mode off just to let ya know!!
You type evoadvantage just before when you can click on the creature starting phase.then you should choose an already done creature.
i am beast at this game i have more empires than the grox by a few 30 well i counted my empire the went to the grox with alot a allies then i counted there empire then i destroyed there planets but when i did it to there home planet then they made one of there planets there home planet so don’t waste your time
